As 2016 comes to a close we are so excited to be getting closer to moving into our Living Building House. This week we were thrilled to have our wonderful photovoltaic array installed by Frederickson Electric’s great team.
The modules come from the State of Oregon – highly efficient Solar World modules (www.solarworld.com) now grace the south roof of our home – and will provide 105% of our energy in keeping with the Living Building Challenge – making the home a zero carbon, fossil fuel free house. In the new year we will also be installing our two charging stations – and are so happy to be all electric and completely powered by renewable energy for our auto and home needs.
