Heron Hall’s South facing porches were built last week by my good friend Clemente Ramirez and his team at Green Bridge. Eventually the porches will have sustainably harvested juniper boards as the surface, but for now its good to have the structure built.

Even more exciting is that the Canoe/Bike Barn frame has been built!  This structure is not designed to hold cars – but instead our bikes and a beautiful Canadian- Made Canoe.  The structure will also hold our firewood, recycling and trash and serve as a multi-purpose storage structure.  It will feature salvaged garage doors and salvaged windows coming soon.  The exciting thing is that the shed – now installed helps complete the 3-dimensional form of the home.

Finish work continues on the interior and a future update will showcase the amazing local siding going up inside.
