While summer is in full bloom, so is progress on Heron Hall. Knauff insulation is being completed and Smallwood erecting plywood right behind them.
The west side screen porch has been framed using beautiful, salvaged headers. The south-side open cistern was built and a final rammed earth workshop was held to build the small rammed earth wall that will also serve as a fountain to that pond.
Salvaged materials are being delivered to the site for inclusion into the project. We are nearly ready for interior finishes and exterior siding!!… as well as the construction of the bike/canoe shed. August will be an exciting month for the project visually!
