We are excited to announce that Heron Hall is officially registered for the Living Building Challenge 3.0!
Our sign has been proudly installed on the site celebrating the vision and effort to create one of the most advanced sustainable homes possible by pursuing the Living Building Challenge™.
The Challenge is comprised of seven performance categories called Petals: Place, Water, Energy, Health & Happiness, Materials, Equity and Beauty. Petals are subdivided into a total of twenty Imperatives, each of which focuses on a specific sphere of influence. The concept behind the Challenge is to imagine and create a buildings designed and constructed to function as elegantly and efficiently as a flower.
Heron Hall is aiming to become certified in all seven petals.
