Vidas Architecture, LLC, specializes in sustainability from the building scale to the neighborhood scale, integrating technology with how people live, work and play.  ML Vidas has focused her career on connecting people and ideas for a sustainable future.  Her consulting business specializes in green building practices, including the Living Building Challenge, LEED and Earth Advantage.  Vidas is an Oregon Registered Architect with a Masters degree in Architecture and a Certificate in Teaching Technical Subjects in Architecture.

Recent projects include Desert Rain, a Living Building Challenge project; Central Oregon Community College Redmond Technology Education Center; and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon New Home.  Principal Architect ML Vidas focuses her strengths in connecting people, resources, and ideas to build enduring change.

Vidas appreciates volunteering in her community and is active on the board of the Bend Area Habitat for Humanity.  She is also engaged with other local volunteers to develop the Bend Sustainable Neighborhood Initiative, a collaborative effort to strengthen communication and problem solving in the community by connecting neighborhood leaders, City officials and staff, developers, and other institutional partners.  Spending active time outdoors renews those vital connections to nature.  Her current pursuits include biking, rafting and skiing, and learning how to garden in the High Desert climate.
